I don’t have any experience creating door hangers or flyers?

What are the costs?

The cost varies depending the services you need. It is mostly determined by the location and the number of pieces you want to go out. The best way to get an exact cost is to call our office or simply fill-out a quote request. We will send you a quote via email based on the information you provide us on your needs. Our prices are consistently 2 1/2 times cheaper than direct mail and usually bring much better results.

What if I am not happy with the results?

Door hangers have proven to be very successful for many, many companies nationwide; however, we cannot guarantee that it will work for each and every business. Advertising is an investment and each business owner or manager has to make their best decisions on what will work for their particular business.

If our product is tried and the results are not deemed as successful, we will work with that client and try and determine if there was a flaw in their message and what could be done different to get the results.

How Long does it take?

When it comes to distribution we are the professionals that more businesses are turning to. Direct-to-Door Marketing can handle any size of distribution no matter how big the order is. From five thousand to ten million, we are prepared to handle it all.

We can start an order within as little as a day’s notice currently, but at times, a lead time or notice of as much as two weeks may be required. The time required for completion of a delivery depends upon the size of an order. For a ballpark estimate 5,000 to 10,000, 1-2 days, 100,000, 4 days to 2 weeks and 1,000,000 from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. You, as the client have the option of specifying the time frame for completing the distribution, within our capacity. We can design a campaign that allows you to spread out the timeframe and quantity that is to be delivered each week.

Why should I use your company for my advertising?

Our company is the industry leader in door-to-door advertising and marketing, we have years of experience in the business. We currently distribute over 15 million calendars, door hangers, flyers, and menus every year as well as other types of print advertising venues. We also distribute publications such as company magazines and newspapers.

Where do the distributors place our advertisement?

We always try to put your advertisement on the front door.  That is not always possible, but we make every effort to do so. If the house has a fence around the front yard, we do not go inside the fence for safety reasons. We will hang it on the gate if possible or we will skip the house. Ultimately you can decide if you want us to put them on the gate or to skip the house.

How do you verify delivery of my ad?

We employ a comprehensive and meticulous audit system to ensure the accuracy of our deliveries. On the scheduled delivery days, our team thoroughly drives through the designated areas, dedicating the entire day to verifying the deliveries. Throughout the day, we capture digital photographs and, when available, videos of your materials placed on the doors in the specified areas. Please note that there is NO SET NUMBER OF PICTURES we take for each job and we DO NOT take a certain percentage of pictures based on the size of the campaign. This is a common question so we want to make sure that this is clear to you.

Please note that Direct to Door does not use data loggers for GPS units and does not retain any tracking data. Instead, we provide digital photographs and short videos when available. While our supervisors strive to take as many digital pictures as possible, it is not feasible to have a picture for every door (e.g., do not expect 1,000 pictures for a 1,000-piece distribution).

Video availability varies by area and is usually only available to large-scale distributions. To accommodate requests for video, please notify us in writing (via email) at least five days in advance. We will inform you if video recording is available before commencing your distribution.

Digital Pictures (Time Stamps)

All pictures are time stamped and date stamped. However, the times and or dates stamped on these pictures are not indicative of how many hours were spent distributing your advertisements. The pictures are meant to show the customer that their advertisements were indeed the ones being distributed door to door. Our supervisors usually spend a few hours a day on taking pictures even though in most cases they are working 8 hours or more. Additionally, time stamps and dates on some cameras may not be correct for various reasons.

How Many Pictures Should I Expect?

There is NO set number of pictures that we take. However, in most cases we will send you more pictures than you care to look at.

The role of a supervisor extends beyond simply taking pictures, which is only a small aspect of their duties. Supervisors are responsible for replenishing door hangers for distributors throughout the day, ensuring they stay hydrated, and making sure they target the correct areas. Additionally, supervisors conduct spot checks and take photos when possible to maintain quality control and accountability.

It is important to note that the number of pictures taken by the supervisor is not based on the number of door hangers being distributed. Do not expect a percentage. Each job is different and has unique circumstances that influence the number of photos taken.

Why are other distribution company quotes so low?

Don’t Be Fooled…

Be wary of inordinately low rates! There are inherent costs surrounding reliable and credible distribution services. The logistics of the distribution process are very time consuming and takes a considerable amount of manpower to be completed properly.

  • Ask questions if the quote you receive is very low.
  • Ask for referrals or ask to speak to a current customer.

Sometimes when you try to save a few dollars it is really costing you hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Choose a reputable company that has a proven track record.

Can I design my door hangers and flyers?

Of course you can. However, we recommend that you rely on our advice and expertise if you are not knowledgeable about the critical aspects of advertising and marketing campaigns.
